Casino Red, sponsors of Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Wildcats betting partners are currently refurbishing the former Princess Cinema building on Northumberland Street in Huddersfield to form a casino with a restaurant and bar. The venue will be a vibrant, safe and exciting addition to Huddersfield town centre.
Casino Red will invest £5M in the development to ensure one of Huddersfield’s most loved listed buildings is sympathetically restored to its former glory as the centrepiece of Huddersfield entertainment. The casino and entertainment venue will also create over 120 jobs across its leisure and entertainment facilities.
The Buckingham Partnership Ltd is proud to be associated with this prestigious development.
Scargill Multi-Cultural Community nestles in a 100 acre site near Kettlewell in the unspoiled Yorkshire Dales.
The
Community pursues a global
vision of people living together in equality, in peace, in mutual
acceptance and in harmony with the environment. This vision is explored in their
life and worship by seeking to celebrate it more widely through their
hospitality and programmes.
Scargill House is a unique residential centre catering
for up to 80 residential guests in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. People of
all faiths – and none – are welcomed to join in their courses, book the venue
for their own event or simply come and ‘do their own
thing’.
The site includes a beautiful chapel designed by renowned Architect George Pace.
The Buckingham Partnership, in association with Brian Foxley Architect has assisted the Community with the preparation of Cost Option Studies for the refurbishment of their site.
HR Developments (Yorkshire) Ltd have converted a fire damaged mill on Thornton Road, Bradford into 28 luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments. The £3m apartments in Bradford's Goitside Conservation Area have been recently completed. The Main contractor was Stonearch Limited. Stonearch's Managing Director, Chris Taylor, said, "This is a high profile project that has benefitted from our intense, efficient working methods and renowned organisational skills. We have delivered a high quality end product at a highly competitive cost, bringing satisfaction to the Client and end users alike."

The Client's spokesman, Habib Ur Rehman, who also manages Habib Estates and Finance, the popular Bradford mortgage broker, said, "This project has suffered from tragic delays in the past, with the insolvency of two former contractors. It is pleasing to see that my dream of bringing this derelict mill, where I once worked, back into productive use is finally coming true."
